Radio Schedule

We hope you enjoy listening. Our format is based on European stations and you will hear everything from Mozart, Clapton, Willie Nelson, Charlie Parker, Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Metallica, guest artists and local musicians playing their original material - all in one sitting.

We will also be presenting educational programs as well as blocks of music focusing on a single artist, bands and local musicians.
The schedule is listed below and is updated often.

Requests can be made directly on-line and will be played within two pieces.
Please be aware that Requests are not available during scheduled shows.
Also, the station broadcasts silence every morning at 3:35am Central Time as part of normal maintenance.
This takes approximately 6 minutes.

The station is a fully licensed BMI affiliate. We officially went on air November 1, 2008.

St. Joseph Missouri is proud to call Coleman Hawkins their own. Coleman was born here in 1904 and the city has a park and statue dedicated to this great Jazz Tenor Sax player.
Every year the "Coleman Hawkins Jazz Festival" takes place in
September and features some of the most
extraordinary musicians of
the area.

SJMF Radio now has online the complete catalog of Coleman Hawkins.
At 51 CDs and almost 800 pieces, this is the largest collection of Hawkins
recordings you will find in one place.
