The class will be directed by Anthony Glise, head of the guitar program at Missouri Western and will feature guitarists from the University. The class is free and open to the public. Guitarists from the region are invited to bring their guitars and take advantage of this evening of free lessons and coaching on the instrument and to hear the diverse repertoire performed by the students. If you have never attended a Master Class, you are in for a great time. Bring your instrument or just sit and listen. Those of you who have been before know what it is all about. Great fun for all and lots of information. |

This year the St. Joseph Music Foundation has
been asked to help in the planning and presentation
of a day-long concert in the park. Scheduled to
play so far is Pocket Ace, Fillmore Opry, Smilin' Jack, Blackout, Sugar Daddy
and Standing on Nines.
The Micosay Dancers will also be performing.
(The
Nova Project, originally schdeuled to perform, will be performing
throughout Europe this summer and will not be appearing at "Future
Impact".)

Ms. Graeff, a professional writer, is a veteran of the
television and radio industry and is one of the most
respected brand developers in marketing. Her past

campaigns for a number of international corporations
including Coca Cola, Ford-Canada, Microsoft, AMC
Theaters and Colgate.

at Café Acoustic, 2605 Frederick Ave.,
Thursday, November 20, beginning at 7:30 PM,
featuring Missouri Western guitar majors, the
Brunette-Mayfield Guitar Duo, the St. Joseph
Guitar Quartet and the St. Joseph Guitar
Ensemble.
Local guitarists are also invited to bring their
guitars and receive a free coaching. All ages and
musical styles are welcome.
The Masterclass is co-sponsored by the
St. Joseph Music Foundation and Café Acoustic
and will be taught by Anthony Glise, who is the
only guitarist to receive the Missouri Arts
Council's award as "Individual Artist of the Year,"
presented at the State Capital by Governor Matt
Blunt.
